Cascade Yarns Casablanca
The debut of Casablanca includes fifteen colorways, and they're all beautiful. Long repeats make this an interesting yarn choice for all sorts of projects. I love the one skein Urban Lace Infinity Scarf, and it would be wonderful for entrelac. Cascade has free knit and crochet patterns for this yarn including the Barred Scallop Cowl shown above in 'Reds.'

ReplyDeleteI would make a cowl for myself. I'm not sure of the pattern yet but definitely something for just me. I always make things for others. And it is getting colder and it would be nice to make something to keep me warm.
ReplyDeleteThink I'd do an infinity scarf similar to the Gaptastic Cowl, with a matching hat for my best-sister-friend's mom, who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. REALLY lovely yarn!
ReplyDeleteThe Urban Lace Infinity Scarf is calling my name! Most of my knitting has been with craft store yarn and simple patterns. This would definitely be stepping out of my comfort zone to the next level of knitting.
ReplyDeleteThis yarn looks so yummy! I think I would make a wingspan with it :)

That would make a nice Clapotis.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing looking yarn! It just looks like it would such a pleasure to work with. My daughters and I were in your shop in August during our all too brief vacation in Lancaster and the yarn that we purchased that day is wonderful. One scarf made for my youngest daughter and have to start the scarf for my oldest daughter. They each picked out their favorite yarns that day.
ReplyDeleteI think I would do a wingspan, or maybe a cowl. :)
ReplyDeleteMargie
